Our "We the People" Campaign continues. Our initiative for community Rights has been blocked in the courts by two individuals who hired one of the biggest law firms in Oregon. We don't know where their money is coming from but someone doesn't want this initiative on the ballot. We are 8 Columbia County citizens without any financial backing. We are going to need help financing this effort...filing fees and court costs. Please consider a small donation to help us get this Right to a Sustainable Energy Future initiative to the citizens for a vote! Thank you!

VOTE FOR PAULETTE FOR PORT COMMISSIONER!

Your voice at the Port
I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for 48 years. I live here because of the opportunity for the quality and pace of life. I envision others enjoying that same quality of life and a thriving economy for generations to come.

The Port of St. Helens owns more than 2,800 acres, including access to the Columbia River. Port properties and the river belong to all of us and to future generations. Port Commissioners' decisions do matter

The Lower Columbia River is at a crossroads. The river could become a heavy industrial magnet or a clean industrial magnet with a solid future. We need decision makers who will build a legacy of a healthy river that includes easy access for fishing and recreation. Good leadership is required for the challenges of the 21st century. Through public participation and inspired leadership Columbia County will retain its uniqueness and quality of life.

I will work to make decisions on your behalf with these principles in mind.

We need to fund the defense of our initiative which is being challenged in court!

We have our Community Rights initiative done and have filed it and it was accepted by the Columbia County clerk. We were preparing to start gathering signatures when...surprise, surprise we were stopped by objections filed by two individuals represented by one of the largest law firms in Oregon. We have all been putting our own money into this effort so far, but now that there are lawyers involved, filing fees to be paid and we will be needing more than just what our small group can provide. Please consider donating a small amount. We have been working diligently on this initiative for well over a year! We hope to continue raising awareness that "We the people" aren't allowed to decide anymore what happens in our towns and "We the corporations" by law are allowed to be the deciders, no matter what the devastating consequences are...(like oil trains).
