WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH is "We're Watching You"

Day.

Who are we watching?

8:30am Port of St. Helens Board Meeting
For those attending the Port of St. Helens meeting tomorrow, November 13th at 8:30

The Port will meet at 1840 2nd Street, Columbia City. (Not 100 E Street)
Columbia City, OR 97018
Continued discussion regarding Global's request to expand their facility at Port Westward which will result in double the number of trains hauling crude oil through the county.

10:00am County Commissioners Meeting
Columbia County Courthouse
230 Strand Street
St. Helens, OR 97051
We will be there to support Clatskanie farmer, Tracy Prescott MacGregor who will submit a petition in opposition to the Port's request to rezone agricultural land for any unnamed industrial use of the Port's choice in the future.

Right now the future of our county looks dark ... the color of crude oil and coal and miles and miles of trains. Who can stop them? We can. Please join us and let them know you're watching!

We still have time to get some more signatures! Please re-post on Facebook,

Twitter, web groups and in the comment section of articles

relating to this issue! I have had a lot of success posting with the testimony

Scott gave to the commissioners with the petition. Our dream is to deliver 1,000 signatures!

Here is a link to the video of Scott's testimony.
